ITC Mendoza Roman, created in 1991 by José Mendoza, is a good-looking typeface with unusual consistency and proportion; the italic is strong, yet graceful, and highly legible. Mendoza states of his work that he "constantly attempts to blend rigor and sensitivity, and the feeling of a hand's gesture to his designs."
ITC Mendoza Roman exemplifies all of these qualities and can be used for books and other text settings, in addition to display screen work requiring a typeface that is both vibrant and classy.
