After making Jimi, the proverbial classic rock poster font, we required to create another psychedelic typeface, but this time including a set of lowercase letters. We named it Janice, after Janice Joplin, the popular American 1960s singer and perfect example of hippie spirit.

The idea for Janice is from an early 1970s photo type sample that was consuming dust on the study's racks.

This font style is rather beneficial not just for reliving the classic rock era, but also for any fun headlines or children book covers.
