Ralph M. Unger digitized this font style in 2005, keeping his digitization as close as possible to the original style of Koch in order to protect the prominent character and the partly non-traditional, original forms.
The concept of a 'Bible Gothic' was establishing for years in Koch's mind and drove the instructions of his work, however only after the experience with his Neuland style could he begin the creation of his Peter Jessen typeface. Produced quite like Neuland, Jessen, however, is a lot more refined and more accurate in detail than Neuland.
At initially look, it seems to look plain and basic, however if you look better, the richness of its distinguished upper case types unfold to a perfectly clear circulation of text.
