Jonah is a retro font family. This typeface has 2 styles and was published by Canada Type.

Jonah is a digitization of the popular early 1970s Urban font from Franklin Photolettering. Though there seemingly is no record left of who the original designer of the font was, it does bear the unmistakable touch of the late 1960s works of a few popular American designers of that period, like Wes Wilson and Victor Moscoco.

A couple of other takes on this style exist, however none keeps the credibility of the original design. Jonah does. Jonah gets in line with Canada Type's Jimi, Janice, Prize and Jojo, the other popular psychedelic groove font styles from Canada Type, to form the most understandable and varied collection of this special design of art nouveau lettering that now specifies the late 1960s and early 1970s. Jonah can be found in two design: Black and White.

The Black typeface is the genuine digitization that is psychedelia embodied, and the White font style is the snuggly overview variation where letters appear to be growing from each other to form friendly twistable walls that speak of art as much as they do of love. Both typefaces include over 20 integrated alternates for optimum flexibility.
