Kafka is a historic and script typeface published by Julia Bausenhardt.

This font style is based upon the handwriting of author Franz Kafka and records his meaningful handwriting style, using the manuscript of The Trial and his diaries as the primary reference. The font style provides the sophistication and anxiety with which he wrote his letters and book manuscripts.

To resemble naturalistic writing and remain as genuine and irregular as possible (without becoming difficult to check out), an excellent number of prolonged ligatures was included. As an additional, numerous drawings from Kafka's diaries are included.
