In the 1990s Adobe's MultipleMaster innovation presented interpolation into font-editing programs. Although the obvious use of interpolation was to develop an unrestricted variety of weights or widths for a font, interpolation might also be utilized to blend 2 totally different typefaces. KampIngriana is the result of such mixing, the offspring of Ingriana, a friendly, soft face, and KampFriendship, which imitates a serifed face drawn by hand.
KampIngriana was originally constructed in 1995-6. It was not constructed to fulfill any specific function but out of curiosity. The initial mixing had many oddities that I did not clean up until 2020. It has 5 designs: regular, italic, bold, bolditalic, and extrabold.
