Kindersley Sans is a sans serif font style household. This typeface has six designs and was published by K-Type.

Many street nameplates in Britain use versions of Kindersley serif capitals designed by David Kindersley in the 1950s. K-Type Kindersley Sans is an unfussy option to the signs stalwart, completely fit to more recent environments and more modern tastes.

Kindersley Sans is a humanist sans-serif that saves the Gill-inspired character and a few of the calligraphic qualities of Kindersley's lettering, it keeps the Roman percentages and its Britishness, however conventional prettiness and intricacy are disposed of in favour of a tidy modernity. For purposes where Transportation (MOT) is considered too formal and Kindersley too old-fashioned, Kindersley Sans provides an open and pleasant current alternative.

The typeface is comfortably spaced and carefully kerned to provide lovely outcomes with ease, and although designed with nameplates in mind, it excels as a versatile text face in print and on screen.

The tail of the uppercase Q has minimal descent to prevent constriction.

Kindersley Sans consists of a lowercase designed for signage with brief descenders to avoid undesirable congestion. A generous x-height assists legibility, and characters are designed for simple reading and distinctiveness. The curved foot of the lowercase L identifies it from the uppercase i.

The six fonts include a full complement of Latin Extended-A characters, Welsh diacritics and Irish dotted consonants, so European language nameplates require not be a source of aggravation. The climb and descent of accented characters has been kept to an appropriate minimum.
