Komet was created by Jan Fromm and released by Jan Fromm. Komet contains 16 styles and family plan choices. p > Komet is a sturdy typeface with a calm and upright feel. Although it derives motivation from classical English sans-serifs, it's not too carefully related to that design. Komet, rather, feels rather more vibrant and contemporary.

Its compact spacing, low stroke contrast and heavy dots and accents give it an almost monolinear quality. The diagonals are slightly curved and the counters of the round letters such as b, o and q are kindly broad. The muted, downplayed middle weights are constructed for prolonged body copy, while Komet's thin and dark weights look vigorous and assertive and make for subtly expressive headlines.
