Kyiv was developed by Viktor Kharyk and released by Apostrof. Kyiv contains 12 styles and family package options. p > The font Kyiv is an attempt to unify old-style antiqua with the Ukrainian custom and modern requirements. Besides having normal italics the Renaissance tradition of 'semi-italics' renewed, compact weights are also offered. Unique charm is included by ornamental motives of chestnut leaves and flowers. The weights are consisted of in a manner to promote the service of numerous jobs both text, and an accidental set in various mixes.

The font Kyiv was awarded the 2nd prize in classification of text font styles in the first Ukrainian typeface competition Ruthenia in 2010.
