Lakeside was designed by Mark Simonson and released by Mark Simonson. Lakeside contains 1 design. p > Lakeside is a 1940s-style brush script motivated by the hand-lettered titles in the film noir traditional 'Laura'. It is readily available exclusively in the OpenType font style format and features 3 different styles of caps-normal caps, over-sized titling caps, and smaller sized, plainer caps for all-caps settings.

Lakeside has been set so that it immediately chooses the proper letter shapes as you type based upon whether the letter appears at the start, middle or end of a word. The crossbar on the lowercase 't' extends itself if area enables. Lakeside also includes an alternate cap'S' in a more conventional design and the capability to produce automated, approximate fractions.
