Created by Alexander Tarbeev and Vladimir Yefimov, Lazurski is a serif font household. This typeface has four styles and was released by ParaType.

Designed at Polygraphmash in 1984 by Vladimir Yefimov, with adding of Demi and Demi Italic. Based on a hot-metal typeface (1962) by Moscow book designer Vadim Lazurski (1909—— 1994), influenced by the early 16th century typefaces of Italian Renaissance. The typeface is useful for text and display structure, in fiction and art books. An ‘‘ specialist set' was added at ParaType (ParaGraph) in 1997. New enhanced digital style and extention of character set was done by Isabella Chaeva and released by ParaType in 2014.
