Gianluca is a typeface of glyphic serif, or "flare" influenced by Aldo Novarese's font styles from the 70s, with a fresh and modern-day touch. It is a type household that can be elegant in its typical variation, or really lively, to make up from substantial texts to flashy headings in books, magazines, labels, posters, branding and more.
It has numerous discretionary ligatures in capital letters (with its diacritics) to have fun with the text, 5 stylistic sets: among them middle ages design or referrals to Herb Lubalin, and some special letters.
Gianluca includes 5-weight font styles, from Thin to Additional Vibrant. All of them with matching italics. It has a great set of small capitals, contemporary and old design numbers, and capital-sensitive punctuation, among other striking glyphs. Play with Gianluca!
