LF Nebulae was created by Lucas de Groot and published by LucasFonts. LF Nebulae contains 5 designs and household bundle options. p > Nearly every type designer feels the requirement, from time to time, to interrupt his or her major work on complicated text type systems for something more lively. In Luc( as)'s case this has often indicated creating more typefaces. In the early 1990s, while dealing with Thesis, Luc( as) drew a number of display faces which were based upon the shapes of TheSans however were either de( con) structive versions or speculative variations.

Probably the most innovative of these was Nebulae, in which the lettershapes have been dissolved into clouds of bubbles; the 3 variations can be layered to obtain a denser (and more readable) structure which can also be multi-coloured. A 4th variation called ThreeDee (3D) offers a convincing simulation of three-dimensional bubble-like type floating in space.
