Liberta TADesigners: Herbert Thannhaeuser, Harald Brödel
Publisher: Elsner+Flake
Liberta TA was created by Herbert Thannhaeuser, Harald Brödel and released by Elsner+ Flake. Liberta TA consists of 2 styles and household package choices. p > Between 1958 and 1961, Herbert Thannhaeuser established the typeface Liberta for Typoart as a broadly conceived paper type which established itself rapidly. Its positive adjustment by publishing houses and printing companies was based, beside its reasonable and reader-friendly general impression, likewise on a relatively robust typeface character which does not compromise its power of impression and sophistication even when faced with bad paper and printing qualities. In the 1970s, a bullish and robust design style took over the area of durable goods which then needed a corresponding marketing face.

Harald Brödel re-worked the Liberta Ultra for phototypesetting, and, with fantastic level of sensitivity, created a matching cursive variation. Both types work especially well as an attention getter for marketing and for focus purposes.
