License was designed by Jean-Baptiste Morizot and released by Indian Type Foundry. License contains 1 design. p > License is a typeface created for vehicle and motorbike license plates. Its letters-- all uppercase-- are monospaced and quickly identifiable; nevertheless, they do not look so technical that they 'd run out place in other design applications. For circumstances, License is an outstanding choice for address signs, too. While License only consists of one set of letters, it uses 3 ranges of characters. The basic characters are classic-looking, with mostly-closed apertures and low stroke contrast. The characters in Stylistic Set 1 are more structured, with typically open counters and increased character distinction. The numerals in Stylistic Set 2 are intended for general graphic design work; they feature increased stroke contrast, extra serifs, and associated types for the '6' and '9'.
