LinoLetter was developed by André Gürtler, Reinhard Haus and released by Adobe. LinoLetter consists of 8 designs and household bundle options. p > In the 1980s, the Linotype Corporation worked with the Style School in Basel, Switzerland, to create a new legibility typeface.

Professor Andre Gürtler supervised the research job, with Reinhard Haus of Linotype. The goal was to produce a typeface to work with contemporary typesetting and printing technologies.

Linotype released the result, LinoLetter, in 1992.

Legibility typefaces are created for printing under the poorest and most diverse of conditions; LinoLetter is for that reason ideal for paper work as well as other mass-produced printed pieces.
