LTC Archive Ornaments was developed by Richard Kegler, Miranda Roth and released by Lanston Type Business. LTC Archive Ornaments contains 1 design. p > Unlike previous dingbat font styles released from Lanston Type Co., Archive Ornaments obtains from a special collection of brass ornament plates that were initially utilized in producing the matrices for casting metal type. Using the plates as a referral point permitted a more exact rendering of the ornaments. Letterpress prints were made directly from the brass plates, which were then re-drawn and digitized. Each character has been enhanced for the mix of decorative borders and patterns in addition to individual accentuation. The finished digitized font consists of over 100 glyphs, ranging in style from geometric to organic styles.
