Luke is a contemporary adjustment of historical English Blackletter, influenced by the creativity of leading English type-creator: Caslon Foundry. Their extremely special 19th century Blackletter typeface provided the core components of Luke, with the name commemorating the Caslon family burial place in the churchyard of St Luke Old Street in London. This modern and flexible type family provides a wide variety of designs-- from thin to thick contours, and with half-filling to complete - allowing it to work best for both text and display purposes.
Details include twelve styles and 641 glyphs. Opentype features consist of superscript, denominators, numerators, clinical inferiors, ordinals, stylistic options, case-sensitive types, fractions, contextual alternates and discretionary ligatures. Luke supports 37 languages, covering South, East and Western Europe.
