Designed by Jorge Cisterna and Bruno Jara, Lumiere is a display serif font household. This typeface has fourteen styles and was published by Latinotype.

The primary source of inspiration for this project was Herb Lubalin's Serif Gothic font. This and other fonts of similar style provided the basis for developing a distinct display screen typeface with a strong character yet neutral sufficient to be used in a variety of applications. In order to make the font more flexible, we consisted of a variety of layered font styles, like inline and shadow designs, which, along with the core styles, supply users with a large range of choices for any design project.

The Lumiere Household comes in 14 designs and includes 2 various variations: multi-layered fonts that make Lumiere much easier to utilize and single layer fonts which allow explored designers to develop their own combinations.

Lumiere is extremely influenced by retro styles but it features a modern and streamlined style that brings excellent value to your design work. The font is well matched for album covers, film posters and book cover styles, to name a few uses.
