I recently learnt that numerous individuals don't learn about this part of Italian art history: futurism. Lots of graphic designers and artists developed this social motion in the early 20th century. It was an Italian phenomenon, though there were parallel motions in Russia, england and elsewhere. Filippo Tommaso Marinetti released the motion in his futurist manifesto, and the most important artists were Umberto Boccioni, Carlo Carrà, Giacomo Balla, Gino Severini and the author Luigi Russolo.

The Luxx font style was born in 2010 after studying this remarkable Italian duration. Luxx is based on a style of lettering typically seen on Italian art deco posters and marketing of the 1930s. This typeface is very contemporary, and is motivated by the "velocitá-speed" of this artistic period.

Luxx is perfect for when you want to use captivating huge texts for anything from posters and retro-advertisements, and art, however it ´ s especially striking for printed projects.
