MagMixer display typeface was developed in 2005 for ParaType by Dmitry Kirsanov. During work on Magistral the disigner catched a concept of creation of more ornamental face based upon Magistral shapes but showed an industrial and mechanical approach. Each glyph has optimum contrast in between strokes and horizontal shift in shape. The outcome is some weird and enigmatic but clear letterforms with active inner rhythm. Its letters remind of structure constructions, chess board, and many other things that corresponding to author's job. For use in advertising and display typography.
