The typeface was called in honor of Nelson Mandela, former president of South Africa, for his "shining example of the unbelievable strength of the human spirit to stand firm in the face of hardship for the pursuit of liberty". Mandelia is a strong, vibrant and wide-bodied serif typeface style, similar to the excellent African landscape with it varies animal life. It's easy to see the impact of the "Rhino' sharp serifs and ‘‘ Elephant' size stems and proportions.The font commands attention and respect. Great for headlines that load a punch, logos, posters, sinage and because it was well created can even be used in body copy at different point sizes. Mandelia is available in Opentype format for both Mac and PC, and comes total with real drawn little caps, old style figures and Unicode Latin 1252 and Main European 1250 character sets.
