Messenger was developed by Patrick Griffin, Markus Low and released by Canada Type. Messenger includes 3 designs and family bundle choices. p > Messenger is a redux of two mid-1970s Markus Low designs: Markus Roman, an upright calligraphic face, and Ingrid, a popular typositor-era script. Through the initial movie faces were a number of years apart and brought various names, they basically had the same sort of Roman/Italic relationship two members of the same typeface family would have. The kinds of both faces were remodelled and updated to suit the Ingrid mold, which is the truer-to-calligraphy one.

The Messenger package is consisted of two interchangeable fonts that support Western, Eastern and Main European languages, in addition to Baltic, Celtic/Welsh and Esperanto. Messenger Pro is a single OpenType font which contains the characters of both Messenger and Messenger Alt, connected by set functions for stylistic alternates, automated f-ligatures and class-based kerning.
