Composed of 2 typefaces, Routine and Fat, Metro Gothic is a modern-day performance of Eurostile letterforms. MG's wide unicase characters were created on a geometric grid while including only two polygonal types: the rectangle and quarter circle. The real appearance of the characters aside from their metrics lends its impact to Art Deco, Bauhaus and Seventies design standards.
