Mezalia Sans is a rational continuation of the Mezalia household. Its shapes are based on medieval calligraphic design: the Bastarda. This time the evolution is taken a step further, as these traditional shapes are merged with the straightforwardness of a contemporary sans-serif. This results in an initial, strong yet quite functional typeface, that can hold its own in a vast array of applications.
Mezalia Sans has 2 unique styles: straight and cursive (true italic if you will, although the word is not truly proper here), which come in ten weights, from thin to black. This broad variety makes sure that whether you are searching for delicate or vibrant strokes (or a mix of both) you will be satisfied. Every style likewise includes a set of little caps (with matching punctuation). Old-style, proportional and tabular characters are consisted of too, together with ligatures, signs and language assistance in Adobe Latin 3 range.
