Mezalia Sans was designed by Piotr Łukaszkiewicz and released by Arrière-garde. Mezalia Sans consists of 20 styles and household package alternatives. p > Mezalia Sans is a rational continuation of the Mezalia household. Its shapes are based upon medieval calligraphic design: the Bastarda. This time the evolution is taken an action further, as these traditional shapes are combined with the straightforwardness of a contemporary sans-serif. This leads to an initial, strong yet quite usable typeface, that can hold its own in a wide variety of applications.

Mezalia Sans has two distinct styles: straight and cursive (true italic if you will, although the word is not actually right here), which come in ten weights, from thin to black. This wide variety ensures that whether you are searching for fragile or strong strokes (or a mix of both) you will be pleased. Every style also contains a set of small caps (with matching punctuation). Old-style, proportional and tabular characters are consisted of too, along with ligatures, signs and language assistance in Adobe Latin 3 range.
