Military Scribe was designed by Brian Willson and released by 3 Islands Press. Military Scribe includes 1 style. p > The 10th Regiment of Foot is a British military system raised more than 3 centuries ago-and possibly most popular in the U.S. for seeing action on American soil during the Revolutionary War in the Battle of Lexington and Concord and the Fight of Bunker Hill. Military Scribe is imitated the compact, practical script on the mid- to late-1770s muster rolls of the Tenth of Foot. I included the work of at least three separate scribes, combining their cool old penmanship into a readable disconnected cursive. Perhaps the most flexible of all our vintage handwriting typefaces, Military Scribe might faithfully recreate antique letters, labels, lists, or almost any file of the period. OpenType functions include several stylistic sets, scores of historical, contextual, and discretionary ligatures (including 9 terminal "d" s) lining and old-style figures, ink blots, cross-outs, and full assistance for Central and Eastern European alphabets-more than 1,000 glyphs in all.
