Minuet Pro is a script font family. This typeface has 2 designs and was published by Canada Type.

Minuet, a casual script with crossover deco components offering it an unmistakable 1940s flavor, is a revival and growth of the Rondo family, the last typeface drawn by Stefan Schlesinger prior to his death.

This family was at first supposed to be a typeface based upon the strong, streaming script Schlesinger liked to use in the advertisements he developed, particularly the ones he did for Van Houten's cocoa products. However for technical reasons the Lettergieterij Amsterdam mandated the face to be made from unattached letters, instead of the initial connected script.

Schlesinger and Dooijes ended up the lowercase and the very first drawings of the uppercase right before Schlesinger was sent out to a prison camp in 1942. Dooijes completed the style on his own, and drew the bold according to Schlesigner's directions. The typeface household was completed in February of 1944, and Schlesinger was killed in October of that same year. Though he did see and authorize the final evidence, he never ever really saw his letters in use. It took almost 4 more years for the Lettergieterij Amsterdam to produce the fonts. The typeface was formally revealed in November of 1948, and right away ended up being a bestseller. By 1966, according to a memo from the foundry, the typeface had ended up being "nearly too popular".

This digital variation of Schlesigner's and Dooijes's work significantly expands on the metal font styles. Both weights consist of a total set of lowercase alternates
