Art Nouveau took place over Europe under different names.
They called it "Jugenstil" in Germany, "Le design moderne" in France, "Sezessionsstil" in Austria and Eastern Europe, "Stile Liberty" in Italy and "Modernista" in Spain. Jugendstil in Germany is what began contemporary design and ultimately resulted in the Bauhaus era. Art Nouveau is the most widely utilized name for this crazy duration in our days.
I constantly wished to design my own Jugendstil typeface, but didn't really get around doing it. Finally I discovered a set of initials by the German designer Peter Schnorr (1898) that I liked really much. I thought these classy light-weight initials need to be saved for the future and added two weights to it, the strong and the heavy.
I selected the name "Modernista", due to the fact that it explains this futuristic typeface and is reminiscent to the age. Now I provide the tripleset of initials for the cost of one.
