Inspired by the Pacific Northwest, Moraine is a geo-sans display screen crafted with 2 things in mind - legibility and texture. Imperfect outlines offer Moraine a hand drawn feel, but the geometric letterforms maintain legibility at smaller sized sizes.
Moraine is peppered with various textures to offer the user alternatives for look. One font style may have a wood type or letterpress feel, while the next my have a linen or denim personality. Opentype features include double-letter ligatures for a natural and realistic hand drawn look. Moraine is a little caps typeface, and both upper and lowercase have alternates.
With a long list of language support, Moraine is an excellent understandable display family ideal for coupling with a script or a rustic logo. I like to explain the family as a ‘‘ legible vintage geo-sans.'
