I set out to produce a strong, vibrant, strong & & rugged typeface, one that would lend itself to any commercial kind of usage, and by that I mean market in general, but probably sectors that would still be considered male protects such as carpentry. I thought particularly of mortice & & tenon joints, whilst toying with shape and form for this self enforced difficulty. I was likewise visualizing a router tool utilized for producing many wood joints nowadays.
I believe the general premise exercised well; in the end I picked the name Mortice, describing the slots or negative areas that the coordinating part, or tenon would fit into.
