Mufferaw is a comic font family. This typeface has fourteen designs and was released by Typodermic Fonts Inc.

Big Joe Mufferaw was a famous Ottawa valley hero; a giant of a man renowned for his strength and easy, good nature. Mufferaw, the font, desires the exact same qualities; strong but friendly and uncomplicated. The well-defined however playful shapes have a somewhat rustic bent and low x-heights provide the illusion of weightiness without being squat or heavy. The wide letters are easy addressing a lot of sizes and have a comic book friendliness and appeal.
