This is the one and only Neil Vibrant, designed by Wayne Stettler in 1966 and initial published as a Typositor typeface. An award-winner and instantaneous star upon its release, Neil Strong became associated with amplified modernism for an entire generation. It was a jazz record packaging preferred, particularly at Blue Note records, and made routine looks on science fiction book covers during the last stretch of the category's golden age.
This digital variation significantly expands on the film type one. New small caps and biform styles were contributed to the authentically restored primary face (for a set of 3 font styles), and language assistance has been extended to consist of all Latin-based tongues. Neil Vibrant Pro, the OpenType version, can be found in a single font that combines all three typefaces into a single file, with programmed features for little caps, stylistic alternates (for biform shapes), a couple of extra alternates, class-based kerning, and additional language assistance for Cyrillic and Greek scripts.
