Newsprint JNL has its origins in an online auction image of wood type. Just the lower case a-z were shown and the type style included an extra-wide 'g' and's'. Expanding on this concept however narrowing the's' a bit, Jeff Levine developed a capitals set and all of the required extra characters - even including a generous selection of accented characters not normally found in his screen fonts.
Regular, oblique, narrow, narrow oblique, wide and large oblique versions are readily available. All styles provide crisp, tidy lettering for headlines, window signage and other display text applications.
