SkibbeNewsSans is a multi-tool typeface system incorporating no less than 90 designs. It was designed to allow an optimal variety of visual tones when developing a typographic look, easily varying from loud and meaningful, to subtle and reserved. The large x-height combined with low ascenders and descenders permits tight and efficient styles. All sharp corners were cut off to add character and a subtlety of additional space.
NewsSans' strokes link humanist curves with 'American Grotesque' information and strong square stems. The system contains 9 weights from hairline to black, and 5 widths from compressed to extended, each accompanied by a correct italic.
NewsSans is optimized (hinted) for finest screen performance. Each font includes more than 700 glyphs and sophisticated OpenType features i.e.: Little caps, different character formats and ligatures.
