Developed in ParaType (ParaGraph) in 1990 by Vladimir Yefimov and Alexander Tarbeev under the name TimesET. Based on Times New Roman of Monotype, 1932, by Stanley Morison and Victor Lardent, and other variations of Times. It has numerous qualities of an Old Style serif faces; it was developed for much better legibility in mix with good economy. Extensively used in books and magazines, reports and workplace documents, and likewise for screen and advertising.
