Designed by Luciano Vergara, Niemeyer is a sans serif font family. This typeface has sixteen styles and was published by Latinotype.

Oscar Niemeyer is among the best architects of our time-his distinct way of mixing straight lines and abstract curves generates an unmistakable and particular style.

This typeface is my own homage to Brazilian designer Oscar Niemeyer. The design process started when my wife and I checked out Brazil while she was running a series of workshops on calligraphy. In my extra time, I would stroll through the streets of lovely cities like Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo, delighting in the local architecture and metropolitan life. I had likewise the chance to take care of some of the workshops throughout which I had the ability to observe the natural of calligraphy and people. Then, I began to draw some shapes that showed everything about this lovely place: Niemeyer's architecture and work and, in his own words ‘‘ the curves on the body of the cherished woman'.

This versatile typefaces comes in 8 weights with matching italics, alternative characters, oldstyle figures and a lot more! Niemeyer is appropriate for logotypes, marketing, publishing, branding and business use.
