A set of display screen faces influenced by the typographic emancipation provided voice by 1950s and ‘‘ 60s north American vernacular type. The starting point for the placid Regular design of NixonScript, was lettering discovered on a 1960s camera discovered in a Chicago scrap store. Later on the double strike of strong and italic was added to offer NixonScript a more energetic, self-congratulatory form.
