Northumbria was modeled on initial 7th and 8th century monastic gospel books from Northern England. The glyphs were carefully picked to reflect those used by the monks from that time. Of course, some glyphs did not exist in the 7th and 8th centuries, so I created them myself.
Northumbria features kerning, stylistic alternates for the lower case letters and a modest variety of ligatures. These open type features will enhance your texts and designs.
Needless to say, Northumbria features a prolonged language support.
