During the hippie counter-culture movement of the 1960s, rock posters, album covers and other printed ephemera of the time accepted the designs of lettering and art made popular throughout the early 1900s.

It seemed only fitting to name this type design Nouveau Hippie JNL as a homage to both eras. The font style is readily available in both regular and oblique variations.
