The Obla font style family is a modern-day serif typeface accompanied by suitable italic in 7 weights. Sketches of letters were drawn by hand, using a thick marker for producing shape and pencil for completing information. Calligraphic origin of shapes is exposed below stretched curves drawn on a computer system. All of the weights were thoroughly gotten used to each other.

Obla is an awarded typeface. It got Unique Mention in Cyrillic Typefaces classification in Granshan 2016 competition and it was selected as a Benefit Winner in Print's Typography and Lettering Awards competition. At that time, before publishing, the typeface was called Petra.
