Obvia Expanded Font
Designer: Marconi Lima
Publisher: Typefolio
Obvia Expanded was created by Marconi Lima and released by Typefolio.
Obvia Expanded contains 9 styles and household plan choices. p >' Obvia' looked like a result of direct observation on typefaces categorized as geometric and the strategy to explore for the very first time width axes Condensed, Narrow (soon), Regular and brand-new Wide and Broadened. The concept behind 'Obvia's style was to produce a distancing from geometrically pure shapes, in this case, square shapes. Then some details were included, such as subtle inktraps, concave endings of the stems and carefully drawn alternate characters, giving a 'geohumanist' tone to the font. This very first household of 'Obvia' has 9 weights varying from Thin to Black, delivering a strong typographic identity, from the paper to the pixel.
