Based on a fifteenth century Textura Blackletter, Octoberfest Pro has a traditionally accurate buddy with Lombardic design capitals, Octoberfest Alternate Pro. The OpenType variations of each have 26 ligature features that immediately substitute an unique pair of distressed characters when any lower case letter is keyed twice in a row, as well as support for Eastern European Latin and Baltic languages.
