Oronteus Finaeus was published by Type Innovations. Oronteus Finaeus consists of 2 styles and family bundle choices. p > The Oronteus Finaeus map, published in 1531, shows Antarctica before it was 'found' and how it looked ice-free. There is still much debate about the credibility of the map, but I was captivated by the letter types which appeared on the map itself. I used the typeface appearing on the map as a visual guide in developing my style for Oronteus Finaeus routine and old design figures. I liked that it advised me of old maps, exploring and adventure.

Definitely oldish and roughish in character. This new font style is best for all those old style and antique applications, or for that vintage typography appearance.
