P22 Platten Neu Font
Designer: Colin Kahn
Publisher: IHOF
The P22 Platten typeface family has been reviewed and broadened by designer Colin Kahn.
Platten is based on lettering discovered in German water fountain pen practice books from the 1920s (you might have seen the comparable Speedball books in the United States). This round pointer pen lettering is similar to the standard types used in grammar school mentor alphabets, but with a couple of initial characteristics. The Italic variation has much more of these unusual features.
Geometric and basic yet casual and classic. Perfect for lots of uses.
