Palamecia was developed to withstand scaling and blurring on numerous user interface screens. At very first glimpse it looks like an animation typeface, which was the objective, but the design of each character was informed by the impacts of pixel scaling on legibility. Rather than using pen strokes as a base for each letter's style, Palamecia's shapes were developed as cutout silhouettes which were slowly whittled and chipped away. If you need lowercase, take a look at the regular Palamecia typeface.
