Pen Nouveau JNL is a perfect example of the fluid, free-form pen lettering promoted during the Art Nouveau era of the early 1900s.
The type face was designed from the lettering on the cover of a piece of sheet music from 1911 entitled "If You Talk in Your Sleep, Do Not Mention My Name".
