Petals BF was designed by John Bomparte and published by Bomparte's Fonts. Petals BF includes 1 style. p > Ooh so soft, so curvaceous, so voluptuous therefore swash-buckling. Hey, I'm talking 'bout Petals BF! Here's a style inspired by the work of Dave West and infused with a wide variety of nicely plump letterforms, with swashes similar to 60s and 70s types. However here's the twist: where you might usually expect to discover ball terminals, you'll experience some sensuous curls; and some lively letterforms such as lowercase h, k, m, and n, might even call to mind that groovy appearance of '60s bell-bottoms. Spread across its capitals and lowercase are swash versions for beginning, middle and ending letterforms -sweet for your eyes.

Petals BF is where Didone style happily weds the natural and curvy kinds of Art Nouveau. Weird I know, however so is a duckbill platypus -and somehow they all appear to work remarkably well.

Among the lots of typographic niceties you'll find, are such Opentype functions as Contextual and Stylistic alternates, Ligatures, Case-sensitive kinds and Fractions. Please note: these magical functions demand using opentype-savvy applications such as Adobe Creative Suite, QuarkXPress and etc.

Petals BF is multilingual, and speaks the languages of Western, Eastern and Central Europe, in addition to Turkish and Baltic. It gets around.

So let your creativity bloom with Petals in projects that include headings, magazine designs, product packaging, logo designs, signage, branding and etc.
