Plectrum CP was created by Jason Walcott and released by CounterPoint Type Studio. Plectrum CP contains 4 styles and family package options. p > As the first multi-font household developed for the CounterPoint font style library, Plectrum provides designers and typeface lovers an alternative to the normal display style fonts of CounterPoint with a low secret yet elegant sans serif household that can serve a variety of functions. Designed as a humanist style sans serif, the letters have variation in stroke weight. The italic faces have some variation in the letter design making them more of a true italic instead of easy oblique faces. The total family include four weights: Regular, Italic, Strong and Bold Italic which can be acquired independently or as a complete package. The typeface has some unique features which add heat to the style such as an inclined cross bar on the lowercase e and a big x-height. This is a strong, versatile family. Available in OpenType and includes assistance for Latin based and Eastern European languages.
