Pluto Sans - the straight buddy of the Pluto Household - was developed by Hannes von Döhren in 2012. The entire household consists of 16 Uprights and 16 Italics; 32 font styles in all.

This clear Sans Serif household is based upon the Pluto architecture and it still has a hint of the friendly feeling the eccentric Pluto communicates. With its geometric types and its large x-height it is best for long texts in small sizes and use in print & & on screens. Both Pluto Sans and Pluto have the same series of weights and designs and can completely be used together.

Pluto Sans is equipped for complex, expert typography. The OpenType font styles have a prolonged character set to support Central and Eastern European along with Western European languages. Each typeface includes alternate letters, portions, lining-, tabular numbers, clinical superior/inferior figures and a set of arrows.
